It’s only a short, so probably won’t be that bad. Then again, some of the recent shorts have been shite, so who knows.
Weird thread bump but a few years back we started a full watch. We finished season 32 this weekend, so we just have to switch over to Hulu to knock out 33 and we will have 100%’ed the Simpsons.

We started sometime in summer 2019, a few months before D+ launch because we were watching the DVD’s. I would say Seasons 1-15 or so went quickly and we were averaging an episode a night. From season 16-32 it was much slower. I would imagine this year we probably watched 1-2 episodes a week. I will say the last few seasons have been surprisingly good, I especially dug 32. The early 20’s seasons have some real stinkers.
I keep cycling through the first 8 seasons at bedtime. I keep thinking that someday I should get passed season 14 officially (my cutoff point when I was watching it live)
The Billie Eilish short was a lot better than the previous ones. Enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. Also give me that Billie version of the theme now please thank you.

Seasons 3-9 are the pinnacle of adult animation and maybe comedy television as a whole. Those episodes had such an impact on my sense of humor, and they're my go-to anytime I don't know what to watch. The movie is fun, too!
Seasons 3-9 is some of the greatest tv you will ever watch, period. It's classic after classic after classic after classic episodes of television. Infinitely rewatchable, and comforting and hilarious and sweet. A real desert island show
