It’s 75 here today and this album is always perfect for the spring and summer.

 

"Don't Feel Like Dancing" is a neverending earworm. Just so unbelievably catchy.

Wow thanks for reminding me how great this record is

 

their best record imo by a lot. the bass lines are unreal and the melodic interplay between them and the guitars is so damn fun

 

Yeah this band has always been very innovative in terms of song structure and instrumentation, one of my fave things about them

 

Fuck I forgot how awesome Medium In The Middle is

Above all this album really makes you think about how every gigantic white cross is made by the same gigantic white cross company.

 

This album came out right before I took a cross-country road trip to go to a music festival up in Washington, played it a bunch when I was driving and one time I was having a moment with this song and this line plays and I hear “man that’s ate up” hahah

 

“Avoiding outside altogether
A void is fine if we’re together”

 

“Dancing in the nighttime, but in the daylight it’s just a shrug”

 

I heard hotline bling on constant loop

 

will probably bump this today and cry with a big old smile on my face bc it brings the most bittersweet nostalgic feelings for me.

serpents is my fav forever and ever

 

i feel like i kinda fucking absolutely adore this band? their songs are all so unique and layered, their lyrical themes always so thoughtful. keep meaning to listen to anybody but them but can't really make it happen. Runners is a perfect record.

 

Happiness Hours is easily one of my all-time favorite summer records. Every time the weather heats up I want to hear it on constant loop.

 

Awkward Breeds turns 10 today. Had no idea this came out on the same day as OTIP, what a day for my personal musical history lol. A perfect album.
