Yeah I'm liking trauma ray. There are so many bands trying to do the big shoegaze guitars with submerged vocals but I like just how washy and haunting they make it. They have the riffs too.

for cassette collectors, this is great. really good dream pop. super pretty, super catchy, super fuzzy

 

another super 90s sounding dream pop ep. reminds me of someone, but I cant think of who, especially vocally. gets kinda aggressive at points, but never super heavy

 

Revisited this album recently, still great

 

riyl yr favorite emo band but they listened to a lot of slowdive before recording

 

This album is pretty cool

 

This ep is so damn good, I've spun it daily since Friday. I'm hearing some Thursday post hardcore vibes in there which I'm digging.

 

This is good but the production is really off...

 

The new Open Hand has some serious Slowdive ("Again?"), Swervedriver ("In My Way"), and just generally awesome shoegaze ("Draw the Line", "Return") vibes at times:

Here's a playlist I made with a bunch of shoegaze and some dream pop on it

 

Not all of it is shoegaze or dream pop, but it's all close enough

 

“Shine (Onto Me)” showed up on a daily mix and is instantly one of my favorite songs of the year, so I will be peeping the whole thing

 

Had this beautiful classic in my head the last few days.
