Yeah that makes sense. No complaints here, just glad I happened to check the mail today instead of letting it sit melting in there!
DAZE dropped this last week and looks like the band is donating proceeds to some local (Huston, TX) charities since covid fucked up their release plans. FFO: Nugaze, Slow Crush
No Joy's new album is out there. I'm getting into Lush... yeah still late but I'm enjoying this deep dive into those genres!
When you say like Holy Fawn that could be: Post metal, atmospheric, shoegaze, wall of sound. They are unique in that they don’t fit in just one box.
Preordered it the other day. Really looking forward to the album. It only gets better. Just an amazing band.
dont think this was posted. not strictly shoegaze but since I got away with narrow head I'll try my luck again. think people who dig gleemer would dig this (I believe Corey produced it too)
been buying my way towards a complete cocteau twins lp collection on vinyl - missing two (guess!) I’ve been listening to all of them so much recently - they sound like summer evenings / nights coming to an end slowly drifting away - they’re a good balm for the soul this extraordinarily weird fucked up year they also remained a bit goth throughout the years (more subtly so at the end) which I love
