Ok, sorry to be a pain in the ass, but this thread is overwhelming lol. Can someone recommend like top 5 shoegaze/ dream pop bands to check out? I guess some people are saying the new album isn’t shoegaze but I’m in love with Gleemer’s Down Through as of late

Did not know this thread existed! Huge shoegaze/dream pop fan. just got this shirt in the mail the other day.

 

Usually I try to avoid ordering from overseas but Deafcult's label still has Auras on vinyl so I pulled the trigger. Shipping from australia was only $7 too.

 

@teenagemustache where did you get that? Their official site has been out of stock for a bit

 

On ebay. I'm 100% sure it's a bootleg. It was 12 bucks. I bought an MBV shirt from them before too. Good quality for the price.

Same. Bandcamp said there were only 15 left, and while I don’t think a 3 year old record was going anywhere fast I wound up snagging one before I even finished streaming it haha

My Deafcult record came today. No way that came from Australia, I ordered it literally 7 days ago haha. Nothing arrives that quickly for me, even domestic stuff.

Anyway, the record sounds great. Checked out their self titled over the weekend and too and really loved that as well

 

Tracking number says it came from Texas. I didnt think the label had US distro, but I guess they do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
