What’s the deal with slow mass? Last I had heard some pretty heinous shit came out about the singer

 

I can't keep up with the thread, but I really loved this one

 

Looks like their were lawsuits, it got ugly, and both parties agreed to dropping allegations against each other in favor of moving forward. Kind of weird to see a band just resume activity and work with members of Mannequin Pussy after that.

 

Didn’t know about this—that’s strange, given their public stance

 

Had no idea about Slow Mass wow

 

They also made an entire MV with AI and when called out they were pretty much just like “shut up” lol

 

That honestly soured me on them a bit. Their reaction felt so childish and petty for absolutely no reason

 

There is a whole 8-page statement from Mercedes of Slow Mass here that has links to a bunch of info on the situation (which was pretty messy/complicated ultimately). I honestly don't remember how I came out on it after reading that when it was released, but I do know I haven't listened to the band since everything happened:

Ep is fucking awesome. The songs that are out now are the weakest on here

 

Looking like All Under Heaven very likely has a live performance in the upcoming season of alt-right sketch show Million Dollar Extreme by nazi Sam Hyde, which is, uhhhh, very not good
