The amount of stuff they hit ghostface with and like, the amount of times gale threw something down in the way while she was running honestly felt parody-esque lol
That’s classic scream tho. We watched 96 the other day and when he and Tatum are in the garage at the party and she blasts him with beer bottles and the freezer door I still laugh every time. He’s always been a clumsy/unstoppable fucker
Also any Ghostface being able to play dead or being able to continue chasing after being shot with a bulletproof vest on. You’re still being shot and it causes severe bruising/damage/broken ribs lol. I still love this series.
Chad is the muscle, Tara and Sam are the brains, Mindy is the meme. The Meeks twins are still 0-2 on listening to the ghostface monologues.
All you reveal haters, would you have loved a complete swerve with having Sydney or Gale as the killer. I've been wanting that for 2 decades. They can build around some motive. Would be completely amazing of the franchise to tell everyone Neve is out for Screm 6 and then BAM. Unpopular opinion I'm sure, but what a freakin swerve it would be
Hahaha… this may have worked for 2 or 3, but by this point this would serve as the biggest slap in the face to fans, ever. That theater would look like the aftermath of a Stab premiere.
I fully expected Kirby to be the cop that was behind it all. But early on they made glaringly obvious hints at Bailey like they do everyone. Before he asked for her file though, having already assumed Kirby I kind of thought they were in on it together, and that maybe when he said “now both my kids are dead” it was an allusion to the good Kirby dying from Charlie’s attempted murder. Who she became was a secretly obsessed true crime nut of some sort who got her cop dad to help her get all that stuff and then later, revenge. Also thought maybe she was lying about being in the FBI altogether and he was just pretending for her when she was in the police station. Still wound up being a revenge plot, just not the one I cooked up.
I mean, Cotton would have still wanted to kill Maureen. He may have not been able to encourage Billy to act on it, but he would have done something.
Sydney becoming obsessed with the rumors that Sam is really doing all these murders and getting away with it would make sense to lead to her behind the Ghostface mask. They might have been planning that since the start of this. I already said Sam is the one who would make sense to kill Sydney, and one of them turning evil makes the most sense for that, but Sam dying would be the better route probably.
If Syd is ever the killer I’m dropping the franchise. Would make absolutely zero sense and would be a bastardization of her character.
Been showing my wife these since she's never seen them, excited to go see 6 again when we get done. After watching Scream 3 for the first time in a while last night, I realize I've been a bit too hard on it (up until the reveal that I still am not a fan of) but a lot of 3 is just so much fun. Also Parker Posey is the GOAT.
Also, I was obsessed with the series when it aired, but I never saw the 3rd season with the new cast. Is that worth watching?
I barely made it through the first two seasons with the different mask. Found the third to be unfinishable and decided to read a summary. Didn’t feel like I missed anything.
I loved the first 2 seasons, I really thought I was going to hate it but it ended up winning me over. Still bitter they changed the cast for the 3rd season so I just never gave it a shot.
I loved the third season, didn’t expect to since I was also bitter about them not continuing with the first 2 seasons, but thought it turned out well.
