    Die rad.

Rewarched entire series again. Scream 2 and 3 are just bad. Especially 3. Bummed that they are saying scream 6 reveal is not great.

I have never heard anyone refer to Scream 2 as, “just bad,” wow! Welcome to Burger King.. what’s your beef???!!!

    Die rad.

I always hated all the parts with the theater involved. From the talk with director, to her freaking our rehearsing, to the final scene being there. And I understand the fact that Billy's mom "dropped 60 lbs and got work done," but Sydney immediately knew who she was. But yet his mom parades all around campus not worried she would run into her.
There are some great parts. Opening scene, car wreck passing through driver seat over ghost face, anything Randy.
I dont even think Cotton should have been in it (or 3 for 2 mins.)

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

I agree with the Cotton take and Ms Loomis being kind of goofy but can't agree with the rest. her talk with the director is one of my favourite scenes in that movie, partially because he's David goddamn Warner, absolute legend

also lowkey think Randy is the worst part of 2 lol, he's just annoying with that random terrible British accent and the whole "unrequited love slave obsessed with Sid" bit. best thing he does in that movie is die imo

Gale's arc is the best part of that movie I reckon, it's definitely Cox's best performance in the whole franchise

Knowing who the killer is, not shocked to hear people calling it a weak choice.

To be fair, she had to really look at and study her face for a few seconds to catch it, and of course her attention at that moment is 100% of who this second killer is, so she's already being primed to think "Who else would want to do something to me?" and thus primed to identify someone she might know. That's a lot different than just passing by/glancing at someone you're not expecting to see.

Also I loved Cotton in #2, I thought it was a good idea to make him the hero there. Was really bummed he went out so quick in 3 tbh. For some reason the way he yells "Woah!" after they shoot Mickey cracks me up haha

I did a rewatch of the franchise on Sat which ended up changing my ranking (current: 1, 4, 2, 5, 3)--2 has always been my second favorite but I like 4 slightly more now. I still love all of the movies, even 3, but that one is def an uneven mess.

Cannot wait to see 6 in a few days!

Has this world stopped asking what it's thinking?

Can’t wait to go back and watch more than the initial subway teaser and first trailer after I see this in… holy shit… two days.

not watching that trailer. I’ve seen the first 2 trailers and that’s all I want to know

Who do we think makes it? Feel like Sam + Tara are fine despite how the trailer portrays the climax. Gayle too. No way they’re showing us Halestorm’s death sequence right up until she’s gone. Feel like it’s a fake out.

I feel like it would be really cruel to kill Dewey and Gale in back to back movies, so I've been operating under the assumption she makes it through again. But I'm still a little nervous about it.

The money I would pay to see a feature length version of “Stab” by Robert Rodriguez disgusts me.

I’d watch it as long as the audience isn’t the one from Scream 2. Just rewatched it today and my god. If I walked into a theater like that, I would immediately walk out.

  19. Was gonna try to re-watch them all this week with my wife before Thursday but I think we’re just gonna watch 1 tonight and the Kill Counts for the rest.

Most wild theater experience ever lmao. The only time I’ve seen anything even remotely close to that irl was Bring It On back in 2000 in a theater full of middle school peers.

I’ve never seen anything like that. The worst was probably No Way Home, but it was all just yelling shit and talking out loud and none of the running around and the like.

Oh yea…Bring it On was just pop corn and straw rappers flying around and kids moving seat to seat mackin on their crushes. … I’d actually prefer the Stab crowd lol.
