Also just gotta say that I love Jack Quaid and want him either to be one of the killers or to be a character surviving and coming back in a sequel. Also, also - pretty sure Kyle Gallner is going to play a cop.
rewatched S4. almost love it, but i still kinda hate how they had jill make it real easy for dewey and gale to figure out it was her. though i guess sidney DID say "you'll slip, they always do"
Lillard's delivery of "let's face it Sid, YOUR MOM WAS NO SHARON STONE" is simply one of the greatest in all of cinema don't @ me
Omg. Matthew makes this film for me! I seriously wanted to own it because of those specific bits at the end. He's always entertaining in everything I've seen, but this is my favorite and favorite part of Scream maybe even. Jamie Kennedy, especially in Scream 2 though, blew me away! I also love his work and comedy, but this was the film that started it all for me. The writing is great, of course, but he delivers it well. SPOILER * * * * I was devestated when he got killed off!...but then I felt better...Did I read his character's sister was going to be in the new one?
Just for future reference, you can spoiler tag by removing the spaces from the example below! [ spoiler ] you’re spoiler goes here [ / spoiler ] Also if anyone 6 pages into the Scream thread doesn’t know that Kennedy dies in Scream 2 by 2020 they had it coming, so you’re good
I read that too but I also read (thanks to slip ups on Instagram posts by cast and crew members via tag) that Skeet Ulrich is coming back so I’m assuming we’re getting flashbacks from the first film with obviously de-aging. I also wonder if the film is going to be jumping and back and forth between flashbacks and present day
watching these again. haven't seen 2 in probably ten years or more, and I don't know if I've ever seen 3 or 4 - if I have I don't remember them at all. can't wait
2 was great. the twist is just ridiculous enough to work and the acting is high-quality across the board. I know Randy's death is a longtime sore spot but man it really ups the ante and makes you feel like nobody is safe (and like... he's also kind of insufferable in that movie lmao) time for 3
I like Jamie Kennedy well enough, he's good as Randy. it's more just the way 2 doubles down on Randy being the whole unrequited love interest/obsessed with Sid that I don't like. feels like an unnecessary bit of character work
Definitely my most anticipated movie. Gonna be so weird to see a Scream film not directed by Wes Craven but I’ve got lots of faith in the Ready or Not guys
Not a fan of this "many-years-later horror sequels called the original title" thing IE: Halloween. I am beyond stoked for this though!
Yeah it’s a pretty harmless but dumb move. The distinction will still have to be made in conversation. Now people will just call it 2022 instead of 5
did williamson really say they’re going straight slasher with this and not going meta at all? cause that’s gonna be uhhhhhh
