Nothing against Cox but if Campbell isn't in it, cut off the legacy stuff imo. Which it looks like this will have a lot of

 

Don't think she is since she's in that shrine scene too

 

I have a feeling the killer is going to be more in relation to legacy characters in the past than the current new cast members. Why else would they have a shrine?

On top of that, frame freeze on the scene that seems to be part of the climax with Sam holding the gun and talking to the killer. There is video footage playing on a projector similar to when Roman revealed everything he did to Sidney, and you can clearly see one of the original ghostface costumes from the 1996 film (bulkier/wider mask + fabric tassels hanging off the sides).

I don’t have a prediction but certainly think it’s gonna tie back to either Roman, or Billy/Stu.

 

Favorite parts were the alleyway chase scene, convenience store altercation and Gale’s company getting tossed through the centerpiece mantle in her apt. Idk where they’re going with an iron man-style suit room tho.

Gonna spoiler tag this next bit even though it’s just speculation. Don’t be mad later if I’m right lol. I think there’s at least two killers again. Two scenes that give it away are Gale being on the phone with a killer while somebody is murdered behind her, and in the flash scene sequence we see a shot of Tara standing back to back with Sam looking scared. Camera is on Tara who’s staring at somebody, but you can clearly see Sam is facing a ghostface silhouette as well.

Speculation tag... I'm fascinated by that quick video clip of ghostface being projected onto the big screen. Given the throwback costume, it almost looks like it could be Billy and Stu filming each other prepping for the events of the first film.. or even Maureen. The footage is similar to the footage of Hank Loomis.. which I can't remember if that was from Scream 2 or Scream 3.

 

I retract my statement about Gale being the opening kill. Since it hasn’t been mentioned yet, I’m thinking Samara is the opening kill? She’s not in a single scene or sequence with the main cast seemingly, and what other reason to hide her other than being the opening kill sequence or a killer they don’t show until the reveal? Which could be really bad lol. I’d go with the former, and it would be closer to the impact of Drew Barrymore being killed off quickly in the first film.

 

Finally got to watch it. I’m glad the shotgun scene wasn’t what I thought it was when that photo first surfaced, lol.

Looks wild. Can’t wait. Don’t fucking kill Jenna Ortega please.

Almost certainly. Especially seeing as we've had no promotional material featuring her. Not even a still.

 

There’s been some leaks from some who have been credible in the past. Will be interesting to see if they’re true or not.
