Interesting. Have a weird feeling about this one. Ghostface's MO has never been to kill as many people as possible, just to kill people with some relation to them, so I'm curious what the new setting will do for the franchise.
Can we please stop doing the worn out classic slasher horror movie masks in reboots/sequels? I know the trailer didn’t make it seem like it’s so in the movie but that poster clearly does and looks like a fan fic job. I’m quite tired of the cliche. We get it, the franchise is old.
So now that the film is taking place in NYC. In this universe everyone in the US has to be aware of the Ghostface killings, right? There’s been at least 15-20 people killed over the course of 15+ years tied to this case. This would easily be the biggest serial killer story ever for everyone in the US. Yet they still manufacture and sell this ghostface costume? Wouldn’t that be like a company selling Dahmer costumes or something?
Don’t forget that the Stab series exists in that universe, so Ghostface is also a horror movie icon to the world. So it’s slightly different but you make a fair point lol
I like that you think that Spirit wouldn't stock Dahmer and Gacy costumes, it's fucked up but super realistic
I can’t wait and will be there day one, but…that teaser just isn’t scary. Ghostface in New York takes away the small/medium town horror that I like in the others.
Looks good as far as teasers go. Didn’t really need to be sold though I’ll be there opening day regardless at this point lol
