At least in the horror community, Scream is big with Gen Z. There definitely has been a resurgence in recent years with that age range. Gory Cory is a big component in that part of the horror community, and they've done a lot of episodes on it.
https://screenrant.com/scream-6-neve-campbell-david-arquette-return-response/ The directors have said they would like to make another along with another original cast member.
I can’t imagine a better, more fitting ending to the series than what this did tbh. But I guess I might’ve said the same about 4 back in 2011. If we ever do get another installment I would not mind it taking another like 10 years or whatever, but it doesn’t feel like studios are able to exercise that level of control anymore
Oh see I thought some of the acting was pretty bad - especially the more emotional Ones between the sisters
Seated for a 430 showing and there are maybe 6 other people in here. I was kind of nervous it would be full and uncomfortable but now I’m kind of worried the experience of seeing it with a lot of people will be lost lol.
My favorite little tid bit was def when my Favorite episode of Dawson’s Creek was on the tv. “The Scare”
I didn’t notice this when I watched it but people online have pointed out that while Ritchie talks about Stab 8 he mentions an interview from Kirby about the murders, confirming she survived Scream 4
update on this: yes I bought a ticket for tonight. But I also went to an additional 10:10pm showing last night too lmao
It is. They talk about the scene in detail here. Hopefully this character returns in a sequel. I spoiler tagged the link because it mentions the character in it. https://screenrant.com/scream-2022-kirby-hayden-panettiere-survive-confirm/amp/
This movie probably had the best films. I don’t remember much kills from 3 or 4 that well. 2 was okay. 1 had good kills. This one went pretty aggressive with its kills.
