Dunno how I missed this thread for the entire time I’ve been on chorus but just now saw the 5 news. Never thought we’d get another one without Wes and wasn’t necessarily clamoring for one but Neve’s quote about their vision has me cautiously optimistic. Hope it picks up from the 4th..been waiting 9 years to see if Kirby is alive or not..lol.
I think having the Ready or Not team run this is the best bet they can make in the current landscape. But I'll say that I hope for as little connective tissue from the originals as possible. Don't want it to just feel like 4 did.
I enjoyed Scream 4, thought it was a great comeback for the franchise. I probably dislike 3 less than most and I still thought Scream 4 was a step up for sure.
scream 3 is about average for me, think more people would call it outright good if the ending was solid
Wish they had filmed the original scripts for 3 or 4. Don’t really remember what happened in the original draft of 3 but it has to be better than that ending.
Scream 3 would’ve been so much better than what we got. But after the columbine shooting (which had absolutely nothing to do with Scream) they felt the need to make it more comedic with a sprinkle of horror.
I need to rewatch 4. I haven’t seen it since i saw it in theaters. I don’t remember thinking very highly of it.
1 4 2 3 Didn’t mind the first season of the show. Don’t think I finished the second. The third season.... woof.
I don’t think that’s far off from my ranking. I remember liking 4 a lot more than most people. 3 is definitely last tho. never bothered with the show past a few episodes of the first season. Couldn’t get past it not being the ghostface mask.
That's my ranking of the films I love the first two seasons of the show so much. Never finished the 3rd.
Is the third season worth watching?? I was super salty that they just decided to reboot it after season two, I had gotten pretty invested in that show when I was watching it lol
I'm the biggest Scream fan in the world, got 3 episodes into season 3 and had to stop because it was so bad
I had no idea that 3rd season actually came out. I might try and watch it sometime. My ranking for the films is 1&2 joint top - I find it too hard to separate these two as I loved them both so much growing up. 4 - I love 4, I thought it nailed the fun factor 1 & 2 had while bringing a more modern angle to it. If the new ones anywhere near as fun I’d be stoked. 3 - By far the worse imo but it’s still watchable. I probably re-watch 1,2 & 4 at least a couple of times a year.
