I would be so happy if they sent this direct to streaming same release day. I'll shell out the $20 to avoid a crowded theater. And this is the type of movie you need to see release weekend (when the crowdest) to avoid spoilers.
I’m fortunate enough to be in Taiwan where there are not many Covid cases and a popcorn + water combo is only 60 cents.m Ticket prices are still $14, however.
I really wish this was streaming or able to buy digitally. I’d easily pay $20 to watch this. I’m hoping at the very least that it goes on Paramount plus 45 days after release.
It is unlikely to do anything but I did make a petition to drop this on VOD if anyone feels like signing/sharing: Sign the Petition Also what's up, I've been looking for this thread, I look forward to spending the next week with you before promptly dipping to avoid spoilers (virtually no way I'll be catching this in theaters)
65 on metacritic. most of the lukewarm reviews still had good things to say, from what I saw in the little blurbs. Don’t want to read full reviews in case someone ruins something in one, lol. So excited. Have a ticket for tomorrow night, but still hesitant to sit in a theater…ugh.
gotta be careful looking at that score Richard Lawson from Vanity Fair hated it and also hated Dune. Why should I give a damn what he thinks? Take a look at what some like-minded critics think. Seems like people that love this franchise are loving this reboot.
Yeah it seems as though the haters just hate meta horror and scream in general lol true fans seem to really enjoy it
Rewatched all of these. 1 is great. 4 is great. 2 is good. 3 is bad. Cannot wait for 8pm tomorrowwwwwwww
