Sweet, just saw the whole movie minus the unmasking.

 

i mean when youre gonna show basically the entire movie in the trailer you gotta save something for the theater

cant wait to see this heap of crap lol

 

maybe that's all just the opening kill

Im 100% all in. Yea trailer gives a lot away, yea i dont like the Spyglass games, but yea Ive been a fan of the franchise for 25+ years and never missed an opening weekend (other than original.)

 

Trying to speak objectively on this knowing what I know about Spyglass: it seems very tame compared to how exciting the marketing was for Scream (2022) and Scream VI. Looks like it may be a single location thing?

aaron's right. even factoring out what we know about the SG situation, this feels pretty unremarkable. bummer we're getting our first bad scream movie run by these fucks

 

They're the ones who suck.

 

Production company that absorbed Scream after the Weinstein stuff. They pushed Melissa Berrera out after she supported Gaza and then Jena Ortega and Christopher Landon left.

 

Speaking of Barrera, she is co-starring with Simu Liu in a spy thriller show that releases this December. I’ll probably check that out

 

Still can’t believe we got so close to a Landon “Scream” with Berrera and Ortega and have to settle for a memberberries sequel from a guy who hasn’t directed a movie since the ‘90s.

 

wasn't thrilled about Landon doing it either honestly but this is obviously worse, the trailer looks very bland. "Neve Campbell has aged phenomenally well" is about the strongest reaction it got from me

 

Yep. Agreed on both counts. I will see it, but my excitement has been irreversibly diminished, and I'll be waiting for it to hit streaming or find another way to watch.

 

Dang, guess Stu isn’t going to be in Scream 8.
