It’s funny to me how disappointed some of you are to hear that the SEVENTH film in a horror franchise is gonna go in a strange and absurd direction haha.

the root cause of the hatred seems to be in support of Melissa, which is fair. I’m fine if this becomes the “jump the shark” movie in such a consistent franchise.

 

Yeah crazy that the most consistent horror franchise going strange and absurd would annoy people.

 

I think the annoyance stems from the fact it feels like the only reason they’re going “strange and absurd” now is because they fired the main star of the current trilogy for a very fucking stupid reason and everything else kind of fell apart as a result
