The opening kills are just all the characters we already know. Even Roman and Stu somehow. Then the movie just puts text in black background: “we are starting over with all new characters but we knew we needed some people you know to come out to this. The new chapter begins… NOW!”

Dude was stabbed like 37 times in one scene. And we had shotgun Ghostface in this last one. How much more brutal can you get? Flamethrower Ghostface from Stab 8?

 

Wes getting stabbed in the neck so slowly was brutal as hell.

 

For my money, that’s the most viscerally brutal death in the series.
