Alita is better than I thought possible for an American live action adaptation of an anime/manga series
Idk if this will make people more mad than I possibly already have with my Rodriguez hate, but I actually wouldn’t hate a Rian Johnson directed Scream movie. But I also love all his movies and TLJ is a top 3 Star Wars movie for me. Just imagine how much the whodunit aspect could be ratched up. Scream 7 set during Christmas time featuring a college student with the nickname “Columbo” that ends up being the grandson of the original Woodsboro sheriff.
I also enjoy TLJ, but man, I love Rodriguez. The Mexico trilogy, From Dusk Till Dawn, The Faculty, Spy Kids, Sin City, Planet Terror, Machete, Alita...I would be very interested in seeing his take on a Scream film.
The Faculty holds up so well, watched it recently for the first time in years, and my goodness, what a great time. I'm really interested to see what the new Faculty movie will be and who ends up getting involved
And I can’t even disagree with any of those really, but he also has all the other Spy Kids universe movies outside of the first 3 (if you even like 3D that is) that are more recent and he completely botched his episodes of Book of Boba Fett imo. So maybe it’s just recency bias, but I just don’t trust him with something so dear to me. But there’s also the fact that I don’t even want a new Scream movie because of what happened anyway. I mean I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t end up watching it , but this all just sucks.
The faculty is such a wonderful product of its time and idk why it needs to be remade. I feel like any remake can work in the right hands for the most part, but idk. Didn't realize it was in talks to be remade!
A Scream movie where the newest Stab movie has been written by AI and the killer is murdering to show that AI will never be able to match the passion of the human spirit.
Literally insane. A donation link for genocide victims? They're not even hiding behind the anti-Semitism claims anymore
It’s disgusting how much they’re trying to destroy her career for being against genocide. Just absolutely wild shit
Just grabbed a scream 96 t-shirt and a scream 2 long sleeve from the rucking fotten archive release hell yeah
Is it just me, or does it seem like more fans will care about Barrera and the boycott than they will about having Williamson and Campbell back? Trying to figure out if I'm just in the right circles, or if that's the general sentiment.
I hope you're right and folks will keep the boycott going. Idk how much of the new fanbase really cares about the original cast coming back.
