Yeah, but with Sidney and Dewey out, I think the time was right to cut the cord and let this new cast with great chemistry do their own thing. They're just calling back to so much that has happened over the span of five movies and nearly 30 years.

 

Gale I could’ve accepted. I would’ve been devastated about Chad though, which I was in the theater because my dude got stabbed way too many times to survive that (in both movies).

Gale & Chad def shouldn’t have survived VI. I would’ve been devastated over losing Chad too, but they do that to us every now and then (Randy & Dewey for example).

I'm still so damn mad at Spyglass for being such dirtbags.

 

Just want to mention possibly my favorite joke/callback in 6. I lose it every time Chad says “beheadings?!” after the mannequin loses its head near the end.

I’d trade Gale and Chad for Dewey ANY day. Scream’s my franchise… I really don’t remember ever taking a character’s death harder than Dewey’s.

I’m pretty sure she doesn’t have anything announced after Wednesday, so we don’t even know how busy she’s actually going to be. I don’t see how they couldn’t lock her in for even 2025 and just not rush making 7 like they did with 6.
