    This thread is so much fun, I didn’t know a lot of this and I grew up all over Appalachia. I often found seashell and other what looked like sea creature fossils and I always assumed they were from lakes.

    Idk why but that actually kind of freaks me out haha. What if it’s having thoughts and registering what it sees? It reminds me of the Metallica music video for One except instead of a body and head it’s just a blob of brain begging to be killed and end it’s suffering.

    Im obviously overthinking this way too much

    Been watching Lex for a year or two now, generally just watch any topics I think will be interesting, really enjoyed this one:



    First hour is a good lead up but really got my attention at the hour mark. Really just the interplay between computation, physics, and neuroscience they get into is incredible. I really liked this guest.
