Bummer. I'm going to go to the Cleveland one. Have no idea what these tickets are going to go for.

I've never seen them, but I'm not gonna pay a half month's rent to sit in the nosebleeds of a stadium.

I literally have this same problem except for the Minneapolis date.

No need... I highly recommend the Lucky Dip tickets. It’s a pair of grab bag tickets for usually 80 bucks. Sure you still may end up with nosebleeds, but everytime I’ve done it (3 times now) I ended up with club level or better. I always go in with expectation I’ll get nosebleeds but 80 bucks after fees for two tickets for the Stones is hard to beat.

    Thanks for the tip.

How do you get these "Lucky Dip" tickets? Are they just part of the regular Live Nation onsale?

from what I've been able to find out about the Lucky Dip tickets... (this could be wrong, but it's the best info I've gathered from reddit and iorr.org, a stones fan site)

you have to go to rollingstones.com/tour when the regular onsale begins and *fingers crossed* there will be a link next to each date that says lucky dip. These tickets are only sold in pairs and usually cost around $80 for the pair (could vary) - The day of the show, you go to will call and get an envelope with your 2 tickets in it - They could be nosebleeds, they could be front row, all luck of the draw. But if you're on a budget and just happy to get into the venue, it sounds like it's your best bet. I'm gonna give it a shot if I can get my hands on some.

^Yup that's spot on. They usually announce Lucky Dip right before the actual onsale and it is listed separate on Ticketmaster. Heads up they are super super super strict on whoever buys them has to be the one who picks them up at the venue then they escort you right in.

They sell out but it has never been an instant sell out, as long as you log on in the first 10-15 mins you should be fine.

My dad and I planned on both trying to get lucky dip tickets so that hopefully at least one of us could get some before they sell out, and also to double our chances at drawing better seats when we get to the show.

If we both happen to get a pair, are we just gonna be stuck with 2 extra tickets, or would I be able to sell them outside of the venue? Or do I need to show up to the show with 2 other people and just give them the lesser pair of tickets?

First off: thank you very much for posting about these and taking time to types out the info. I had no idea and I am very thankful so I can try for them tomorrow.

second: I did some Googling and reading on one of the Stones forums. Basically what people do are what you and your dad are doing - buying two sets to see who gets better. What a person said they’ve done in the past was found people outside the venue, explain the situation with the tickets. One of them walks in with your dad, one of them walks in with you. Then you guys take the better seats and go your separate ways after they pay you.

what show are you trying for?

you're welcome. I had no idea of the lucky dip tickets either until @AndrewRnR posted about them here, so thank them, but yeah I basically read the same thing you did. Even if I end up with two pairs of tickets and can't get rid of the extras, I still think $80 a ticket (if we aren't stuck in the complete nosebleeds) would be fair to see the Stones.

I'm trying to get tickets for Dallas.

I look at it as $40 / ticket since the pair is $80. I’m personally just trying to get into the stadium so either way I’m happy to get in, see and hear the show.

Also didn't know about Lucky Dip, so I'm grateful as well!

Right, I'm just saying that if I wound up getting 2 extras that I couldn't get rid of, it'd end up being like paying $80 a ticket, but at least I'd have double the chances at good seats.

But yeah, I'll just be happy to get inside at all.

thank you! that was a bizarre experience for me...i clicked the lucky dip link for the cleveland date and it kept directing me to the detroit date. i did what you said and i was able to get 2 lucky dip tickets to my show! pretty awesome it's less than $80 after fees.

Yeah, the site is all fucked up and they all go to Detroit. I used that link to figure out how to get the right code to add.

can anyone access lucky dip tickets for Dallas yet? If so, please link me...

I tried adding ?did=lucky to the regular ticket link but it just re-routes back to regular tickets.

general onsale is still 20 minutes away, so maybe that's why?
