So many fucking hilarious lines this week, this episode absolutely flew by

This cast is just amazing, I can't even pick a highlight. This week it was definitely Edi Patterson I think but every single person is hilarious.


Is Goggins a regular though? I didn't realize he would show up so much

Those repeated door slams were hilarious

 

I'm an episode behind, but the flashback episode (which I'm not typically a fan of) was maybe the best one yet.

"Look at that, a ninja star with a booger on it. That's beautiful son."

 

The most recent episode near the end when Eli is watching Uncle Baby Billy and Judy on stage and clearly being touched by how great she’s doing was genuinely emotional. Pretty surprising how they pull these moments off.

Yeah I like that Jesse is the only truly unlikable one

 

I think Judy is way less likable — Jesse is an annoying loudmouth but Judy is borderline sociopathic

But yeah it would have been so easy to take the idea of these characters and make them soulless caricatures. That’s definitely what I expected going in

 

That’s what makes these guys’ shows so good, their characters are never just caricatures

 

Green/Hill/McBride is a stellar trio of directing and writing. Plus, it helps having a stellar cast.

 

For some reason ever since the first episode I've had a feeling that (spoiler in case I'm right) Eli will die at the end of this season

I can't accurately put into words how much I love this show. I will follow Danny McBride to the ends of the Earth.

Also, guess it's gonna be another week of Misbehavin' stuck in my head 24/7
