Good episode but I was admittedly a little disappointed for obvious reasons. I need my proper Gemstones fix!
I can't in good faith label that the episode of the series because of it's lack of featured players but god damn I really, really want to.
From the season trailer that just dropped it seems like a lot. it seems like one of the main plots of this season is Elijah Gemstone's gold plated bible getting stolen
Great episode. Was not expecting the first face id see this season to be Eugene from Walking Dead lol. Took me a minute to recognize him. And also Big John aka John B’s dad from Outer Banks recruiting the priest. def wasn’t expecting to see Bradley Cooper. I’m glad they kept that secret, or at least I never saw news about it. Died at all his bad attempts at praying, especially for the dying soldiers. Though I agree with others about the lack of the main players. I kinda wish this episode had been spread out over the season, and I wonder if that was the original plan before they decided to go deeper on the story of how the family got their start and make a full 40ish minutes about it
