I watched it before my wife who told me she would just watch it the next day while she was off. She didn’t, so I watched it again with her so I could see her face when that scene happened lol

 

Started Eastbound and Down since I loved Righteous Gemstones so much.

 

first season of Eastbound is an all timer

 

Eastbound and Down could possibly be my favorite tv show of all time. I know Kenny Powers is by far my favorite tv character of all time. Was a McBride fan since Eastbound. It was the perfect combo with EBD and Pineapple Express coming out the same time.

 

The face falling and crushing that dude's head was so insane I had to rewind it to be sure that that was what happened.

I'm surprised so many people in here haven't seen Eastbound. It's absolutely quintessential McBride/Hill

Some of it may not age well but it's an incredible show. Watch Vice Principals too after that... and then The Foot Fist Way and Observe and Report

 

Eastbound is spectacular. I like it more than Gemstones.

Eastbound is as good as it gets in terms of McBride performances. Easily his most iconic role. If you like Gemstones at all I can't imagine you wouldn't enjoy Eastbound.

 

I also haven’t seen Eastbound yet. Vice Principals was great though, was sad that only went two seasons haha

 

just caught up this week and WOW what a great season finale.

McBride moving back to Carolinas was the best damn thing he ever did. I am not sure we would have ever got this run post Eastbound if did not do that. Though I think Vice Principals was started right around we he "officially" moved.
