I've been meaning to take a 6 hour trip to New York to catch these dudes, but none of my friends really listen to the music I listen to, so it's a hard sell. I'll make it up there one day though, regardless.
I absolutely love Masons voice. Greg is also great and that first American Gospel album I really enjoyed. What I'm really saying is I can't wait for this.
Excited for whatever is going down tomorrow, new song I think for sure, but I hope it's a surprise album release.
The song is ridiculously good. So excited for this. The Republic of Wolves - "Northern Orthodox" (Song Premiere) • chorus.fm
Thanks for sharing this. So happy to have TROW back in my life. I really hope the full-length works out. Interesting to see that Dan Gluszak mixed this.
Just listened to Northern Orthodox. I never got into their latest full length but this remind me a lot more of Varuna. I'm so ready for new music from them.
It's been 3 years since "No Matter How Narrow" came out, don't think will have much longer to wait for this album, at least I hope we don't. Would be nice to get an at the latest March release.
I check their Twitter quite often waiting for an announcement. I love variety of this bands music and the fact they reinvent their songs. Sure Hope Mitma makes the album as well and they do a bunch of b-sides again.
Gregg seemed to have a vocal part, not lead. In the video they released of them playing it, his eyes were looking up like he was reading the lyrics. Billy can sing. Though he often does the more screaming moments in TROW, he's lead vocals for his project Year Fifteen. Mitma was such a cool sounding song. I feel like they can make it work.
Yeah, I love Northern Orthodox so I know that I'll love the next album without Gregg, but I am really going to miss him in the band. Him and Mason's vocals played off each other really well. Also Home is my favorite TROW song.
