They’ve really used a nice variety of additional instruments in their work which has added something special.
Worry if you want is my favorite song of theirs. Legit catch myself saying that to myself when I’m stressed out.
My guess is acoustic or reimagined version of Shrine songs. They usually do that sort of stuff. ...or some new Hampton’s songs ;)
Yeah I agree with loudasallgetout, seems like it will be the stripped down acoustic versions. They said they were working on those a while ago. They put up Colored Out on youtube and if it's like this, then I am damn excited:
Thanks, I have, but I'm listening to them again now. Disappointed it wasn't the recorded acoustic versions of songs for their announcement, but that's awesome for those who didn't get the vinyl.
I already have the extended version as well, so I am disappointed for myself, but happy other people get to hear them. I just really hope they are keep making music together. I realize there are even more complications that come with distance, but it’s still possible, even if it takes time.
I actually haven’t seen anyone who listened to Shrine say they didn’t like it. That really says a lot about it (and every other TROW release).
I’ve always thought the album sounded great production wise, there was a nice variety of sounds/song styles on each album, all three had distinct feels but were closely related, and people liked Mason, Gregg, Billy and Christian’s vocals. The lyrical subject matter is kind of different with imagery, spirituality, and so on. But if it’s not your thing that’s fair. I kind of feel TROW is more for a fan of Moving Mountains and that sort of band. I’m sure there is a better comparison. In their genre, TROW impresses me.
