yeah it's less satisfying for sure, i have the burgundy flowers shirt and i believe it and the new shrine shirt are both gildan

 

what was the story on the cast??

 

An email that Mason sent to the guy about the story of the album. He read it at the beginning.

I found them all a little annoying tbh and I zoned out a few times. Felt too long but I just finished it now.

 

Hope they release the full story in some way.

 

I'm bored at work and figured I'd put the transcript here to refer back to. I didn't do this for you, Teebs!

The central character is a charcoal burner living and working at the bottom of a canyon. His soul is stolen from him by the Sun Goddess Amaterasu after he falls in love with her. He climbs up a mountain in attempt to reach the highest peak, where Amaterasu's temple sits, so he can take back his soul. In the process he encounters creatures drawn from Japanese mythology, like Enenra, Satori, Tingu, and Waira, and eventually does find the goddess. He never recovers the soul he was looking for, but discovers that a new, better one has grown in it's place.

''Slide'' is the direction I'm hoping they go in next. More stripped down sound with strings would be amazing. They do songs like Sundials/Birdless Cage so fucking well. Fits their sound perfectly.
