take away the multi-part concept album thing and they're analogous to each other imo I mean, that and Casey being up to his neck in prog influences
Anyone else notice @Jason Tate got a thank you in the liner notes? Edit: oh wait, I forgot the $100 contributors got their names in there. I see you, Ian McAlpine.
ORE is a huge stand out for me, idk why, I love the vocal rhythmic pattern in the verses and that high steady guitar line in the choruses. Dialogues is definitely in the running for song of the year tho
I only played this once today so far incredibly enough but its been in my head all day. Next listen will be the extended version! Soon v soon i hope
ore is my second favorite i think. everything from dialogues to the end is un fucking believable. colored out could've been a radio smash in a different era. supppper 90s alt influenced. i hear gin blossoms in that song.
i wasnt sold on amaterasu yesterday but i totally see its purpose on the album now, great slow down before ore and worry if you want close out the album in a big way
This album has some of my favorite one liners in quite some time. Lyrics more and more are becoming a highlight to me. So much going on in the background can't fucking wait to listen to this with a good pair of headphones and see how much more I can pick up on. Definitely glad I played the extended this time. Love those bonus tracks so much.
Didn't even pay attention to the standard track listing and noticed that the bonus tracks on my phone are interwoven in the regular tracklist. Are those listening to the extended putting the bonus tracks at the end or leaving them where they're at?
