i went into this thinking oarsman was their only good song and so far every song ive heard is better than oarsman

 

This album is honestly a near masterpiece to me. Need more time with it but yeah so impressed with it.

The stop on the jam during closer is an album highlight for me

 

jesus christ born blind is as good as any song that came before it what is HAPPENING on this album

 

AND ITS A B SIDE.

That's how good this album is.

 

I was just thinking about that part when I played it today the second time. Neat for sure. Can't wait to play this with a good pair of headphones

I've stopped calling them B-sides too good to be called that. Bonus tracks seems more appropriate.

That piano at the end of "Dialogues" that's a call back to "Monologues" gives me chills every time. I truly hope this album is the tipping point to where this band gets the recognition they deserve, they deserve it after putting something like this out.

 

Yeah I'm totally on board. I would love for them to tour on it.

 

the style change on colored out and amaterasu was interesting but may take a few listens to sink in

 

ive always found it interesting when bands release bsides by inputing them into the existing tracklist instead of tacking them on at the end. tame impala did it with lonerism and led zeppelin gave the back half of the album a whole new dimension

 

did you like Birdless Cage @sophos34 ? Track is amazing imo

In this case they were definitely meant to be integrated in the track listing which I love especially since you can tell they made sure they would all flow perfectly. And they all do.

yeah that was a great ending also that drum production whoof love that snare sound

 

im assuming they didnt have a huge budget for this but this is extremely well produced
