Lyrically, Branches is one of my favourite releases ever. They really shine on Black Teeth too. I also found a really cool band called Out Of Service. Anyone heard of them?
See I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily heavier, but it’s definitely got a bite to it that a lot of LP didn’t really have. Similarly I wouldn’t say the vocals are raspier necessarily but they’re improved significantly, and I thought he sounded great on LP
Haven't had a chance to properly listen today, absolutely hectic day so far. Will dive into it after work, but I did hear 4 songs last night and liked everything I heard. I almost jumped on purchasing the vinyl, but I wanted to give it a proper listen first.
IM GETTING THIS WITH YALL EARLY. I messaged them on fb and they said pay pal them $10 and they will get it to me with backers and with bonus tracks
I really want those b-sides. I’m gonna end up buying this on bandcamp and pinfulmy wait until March 27. I’m happy that so many TROW fans like though, because it feels like a hype I trust (although I really had no doubts).
I really want to know if the proper way to listen to this album is with the B-sides, because they have them fitting into a specific spot on the album. Kinda reminds me of Prawn's "Kingfisher" they basically said the proper way to listen to that would be with the B-sides. Gotta have some guidelines for me first listen haha
