The Replacements will be releasing a live album, For Sale: Live at Maxwell’s 1986, on October 6th. You can stream “Can’t Hardly Wait” from the release below via Rolling Stone:

For Sale: Live at Maxwell’s 1986 marks the Replacements’ first live LP since their cassette-only 1985 LP The Shit Hits the Fans. Recorded using a 24-track mobile studio, the 29-track For Sale features Replacements favorites alongside a mix of covers and B-sides.

Sweet! I wish I got to see Maxwells before it was turned into a generic bar.

They still have the back room for shows. I haven't been there since they remodeled it and started up shows again (last time was Texas is the Reason in 2013) but from what I hear, it's still a great spot.

Maybe? I wandered in during LepreCon last year, maybe it was just a day to be generic.

Now that's just asking for trouble haha. If I was a part of those festivities, I wouldn't be paying too much attention to what bar I'm in.

Not going to lie, my day was pretty blurry.
