Was losing a little of my enthusiasm that peaked with episode 1 for this show...episode 5 was massive.
A few all times great Nathan one liners in ep5 “I was raised Jewish, and I still celebrate the holidays and stuff. “I haven’t been to synagogue in a long time because it’s so boring.”

Finally got around to the latest. Even more interested to see where this is all heading. I was a little bothered by the end. The level of cruelty and prejudice Zionists get away with is astounding. Just casually stating Palestinian civilians deserve to be slaughtered because they were told they would be?? Ugh. And this is coming off the last few weeks of Israel pummeling Gaza and murdering more children. I really hope those views are confronted in the next episode because it was a lot to leave us with.
One thing from last week that kills me was the reveal that Angela’s Etsy shop wasn’t real. I could have missed that in episode 2 or whatever, but I do not recall seeing that that was also part of the rehearsal. And then obviously the fake postman. Dead.
i'm interpreting the ending as confirmation that Nathan is not a z1onist which would totally ruin him for me.
He did seem uncomfortable but unlike with Angela’s antisemitism there was no pushback at all, not even in the form of a voiceover, to things that were frankly far more directly vile than Angela liking Mel Gibson.
can you push back against Israel in a show and have it okayed? Even then you will feel the wrath of a Z1onist tantrum.
I mean...there's no way that reveal wasn't deliberate. It was a hard turn. And he tried to change the conversation. It was a punchline. He's not a zionist lol
I was wondering if he was ever going to go there and bam right at the end and through the credits. brilliant.
It’s really fucked up that we allow this one form of open oppression, prejudice, and discrimination to just kind of be an accepted “different viewpoint” because it’s “complicated” when it’s really not complicated at all.
I think it will end continuing the "kayfabe" of the show but at the last second go in a different direction similar to the last scene of Finding Frances
