Yup, looks like they made a whole show off of the premise of a NFY episode. Could not be more excited
Next week is going to be wild. Seeing what Saul, Gus, and Mike are up to and then later in the week watching Nathan fuck with people. 2013 all over again.
Holy shit. I work at the company that makes these mannequins. That’s like a $65,000 medical dummy on the left there.
As if I couldn't get any more excited The closest comparison might be “Synecdoche, New York,” the 2008 Charlie Kaufman film that, like “The Rehearsal,” treats life as a performance that can be perfected. And, like Kaufman’s film, “The Rehearsal” has an anarchic heart throbbing beneath a rigorous exterior — meaning that even the viewer who feels the project losing its way can admire Fielder’s abilities to establish lines for himself, and then to scribble outside them. https://variety.com/2022/tv/reviews/nathan-fielder-the-rehearsal-review-hbo-1235310807/
I read a little and stopped cause it got spoilery, but maybe I need to watch the Charlie Kaufman movie.
I'm really just so damn happy for any new Nathan Fielder content after also watching pretty much all of Nathan On Your Side. NFY was a show that I watched so damn much and was basically, "we will make every single person we ever meet watch this show" for me and my roommates in college Even seeing him in that Kyle Mooney (who was also a writer for S1 of NFY) Netflix show was great
I could be way off base but it looks like a demented take on a queer eye type show haha, Starting with all good intentions to improve someone's life and turning up with a production crew, but then it just going off the rails.
