I started checking Twitter more lately to stay up to date on news and stuff. 99% of people talking about him being manipulative are saying it’s silly.
Don’t really wanna engage but it’s probably also worth pointing out that in the Vice article that started all of the twitter stuff, Robbin’s main concern seems to be that The Rehearsal didn’t show enough of him talking about Jesus lol. Doesn’t appear that he feels misrepresented in any other sense. The way he showed his full ass was a naturally occurring behavior that he even doubles down on during the interview
Avoiding Twitter discourse but the meme group is crazy… first Robbin’s brother joined and eventually Robbin himself but there’s a ton of good memes mixed with chaos, highly recommended lol, luckily didn’t see his post with the spoiler
I left any Facebook group related to anything I enjoyed because they are all terrible with stupid fucking people.
The admin in this one did a pretty good job handling this situation but a good chunk of this group went from mostly funny memes, to Robbin memes, to messaging him on his personal accounts before he even joined the group pretty quickly…seems like most of it got cleaned up but he’s still in there responding to people
This show is incredible so far. Ep 1 was crazy and hooked me in, and then ep 2 was just absolute insanity. I've never seen Nathan For You, so I'm starting that up alongside this.
when Patrick literally went digging for gold with fake grandpa for hours, I was in tears. Other highlights: Nathan not dropping the Halloween thing. The mirror. The nanny saying “that makes sense”. Patrick wanting to settle something with an arm wrestle. Seeing Nathan smile and laugh while playing with a child.
"You have to open your eyes to reality" - She reminds me so much of how psycho my mom has gotten over the last couple of years (essentially lining up with Trump's run to POTUS). The Punisher emblem with both of his dead grandfather's ashes around his neck had me laughing pretty good. "as an annual family tradition, when he was alive" lolol "She’s a jew about it" Has anyone found him online yet since then? And Adam’s bed was so damn small.
At one of the last scenes inside of Cane's, there's an old lady in the background of the shot dipping a chicken strip, putting it to her mouth, speaking to it, and then putting it back on her plate. Anyone else notice this?
I have never else in my life experienced a tv moment quite as wonderful as seeing the show for the first time and it being the gas station rebate episode. Roommates at the time and I ended up watching the entirety of season 1 (it was either over or almost over) that day. Still has to be among the funniest and most unbelievable things I've ever seen. And while the full run of the show was anything but a disappointment, I don't think he ever topped that segment. It's also wonderful in that there has maybe never been a better episode of something to recommend people you want to give the show a chance - it's virtually impossible NFY could be for you and you not think the episode is brilliant, it's got a legit 1.000 batting average in my experience. Anyways, episode 3 was less funny but still great. Halfway through this feels like it has classic potential.
