This show is so disorientating and insane. Like, where was this set for the alligator lounge built? Oregon? Or did they break it down then rebuild i it in Oregon? Or did they fly Kor to Oregon for the Rehearsal?

love the “character” building he’s doing with the moments behind the scenes, really pushes it into something greater than just a “prank show” and is, as NFY was, really about someone pushing through feelings of loneliness that comes from pursuing a job/career, even in a job as crazy as his

I swear I’ve biked around that neighborhood they drove through after leaving Robin’s apartment. He also had a Ball Was Life sticker in his room lol

 

If I remember correctly, he said something about shipping the alligator lounge to Oregon because he was sad

it looked like they even had to modify the outside so it could fit in the smaller Oregon warehouse

 

When she said in her prayer about who’s in control in the show, it made me think. In a lot of ways, Nathan is. But he has no control over what these weird ass people will say or do.

 

It's interesting how this show has moved more towards having extremely cringey contestants than Nathan being the cringey one. He seems more ... normal in this?

If he's telling the truth about crashing at 100mph, he very well may have brain damage

 

He says on the episode that they shipped the whole thing from New York to Oregon, because yes, he's insane

 

HBO execs must have been losing their minds over Nathan's requests lmao makes you wonder if he'll get a season 2

 

My guess is that he was given a budget and stayed within it, but the WAY he spends the money is what's uniquely him

 

It's sad that a (likely) born again ex-addict who is sweet, but also kind of unhinged falling for a dangerous psycho is totally believable and common.

 

Is this going where i think it is? the lady bails, nathan completes the project alone or in some even more insane fashion?

 

One part of the series trailer shows Nathan interacting with a grown man playing a toddler calling Nathan "daddy", so i'm thinking the parents bail

 

Do you thing this will just a two parter, or last the whole season?

I can only imagine what all the parents thoughts are through this.

 

Truly incredible so far, the first scene of them swapping the babies had me dying and I had no idea where it was going at all

 

i’ve almost never seen nathan look at someone as confused as he was at the security footage guy before robin dipped out the first night

 

yeah for a few seconds I was like is Nathan legit kidnapping a baby?? Lol
