Not sure of the fallout as I really didn't get into Mi Fa Mi, but why wouldn't he be back? Split up on bad terms? Was he at the secret show in Boston in 2012?

 

I don't think there's bad blood or anything I've just seen him mention multiple times that he had moved on from it and wouldn't wanna do TREOS anymore

 

8-10 years is a long time though... hopefully we get an actual announcement here soon.

 

he did come back for "Weightless Underwater" though - not to get anyone's hopes up on a long shot lol

 

I’d honestly be surprised if he wasn’t back if this is just a tour... if it’s more maybe not. We’ll see I guess.

Word. Forgot about this band, was pretty into The Earth Sings Mi Fa Mi at one point.

 

I love this band with all my heart. But I will say, their last reunion set was rough. There was a reason they hyped the DVD then never released.

 

finally made it out there from the Cape yesterday for the Monster Jam at DCU... that’s a drive I’m not sure I want to do late at night with work the next morning

Surely TREOS doesn't want that on their conscience.

On his episode of lead singer syndrome, Casey said he was open to doing treos stuff again. He said he more so walked away because of the immaturity and stupid fights they used to have.

 

What a pleasant surprise. Def gonna go to this if it hits the west coast.

Yeah, it was sloppy. Some riffs not in the right key. I mean normal stuff for dudes who have moved on in their life. Besides Nate and maybe Andrew, I don't think Alex or Brendan have done much music since.

 

Nate is off the map. Andrew is drumming for Dan + Shay.

 

goddamn this band's use of counterpoint vocal melodies still blows my mind years later

and "This Armistice" is legitimately like a top 10 song of all time for me

 

I think I'd still probably rate BTHATS as a top 10 album for me.

 

I think this is an unpopular opinion on here, but I've always preferred The Earth Sings over Between the Heart. Did they play a good mix of songs during their last reunion?

 

Same here. I’m hoping they play from that album this time around too

 

both albums are basically perfect, I'd give BTHATS the edge just because I hate "Smoke and Mirrors" with every fibre of my being
