Just saw the setlist for both nights. Amazing. Unreasonably cool of them to open both sets with The War of All Against All.
just read that they played Bell Book and Candle and the original vocalist Ben came out for it? that's an insane deep cut revival if true
It was a cool full circle thing. Ben doing a song, Brandon’s son playing (his birth pretty much broke up the band since Brandon left to raise him), Casey and Brian playing together. I always heard (on here) that Casey hasnt been on board with a revival so I’m skeptical until it happens, but he was def playing into it with the crowd. Hopefully the band with at least the mi fa mi lineup becomes semi active again
it's just so wild to me that Ben was probably chilling backstage while they played Dead Men which is a huge diss on him. what a time to be alive lmao
There's a T-shirt on the merch website with TBD dates in April. Is that legit? That's so soon. Have more shows already been announced? I'm holding out hope for a reschedule of the Nashville date that got cancelled during COVID.
From things I've read, it seems Casey would be down to make new TREOS music, he's just not as enthusiastic about doing a bunch of reunions and only playing old stuff Would absolutely love a new record from them even if they can't really be a full time band anymore. Los Campesinos makes it work
Very fascinated with what this band would sound like in 2025. Seriously think they would have an all-timer in them if they can somewhat pick up where they left off.
Work? They just released their best album!! Finances are a different story lol, but love how transparent they are
I don’t know if I see another album in them given everything Casey has going with TDH, Andrew’s touring commitments to Dan + Shay, Alex/Nate/Brendan having families & careers and Brian having tour management/production commitments. I think it’s more likely that they’d release an EP every couple of years & do small tours around those & maybe an annual holiday show. Even so, semi-active TREOS is way better than no TREOS at all.
Hard to believe it would be just an EP, since the bands music is so conceptually focused imo. But they could probably make it work
If we do get new TREOS, it will very likely be a trilogy of double albums to make up for all the lost time. A couple EPs lmao get real.
