That’s what I’ve been told too. Fingers crossed! Oh yeah I’m already on it. I eat healthily, workout and also work with a trainer. I feel pretty good in that realm
So far the most stark difference I notice in my thirties versus my twenties is that the older I get the less opening bands I want to be on the bill. I don't have the time or energy for all that. Also ironically when I got my ID photo taken yesterday I clocked that the the ID photo I had taken when I was 19/20 I had no acne and then the one in my thirties I had two giant pimples that I was trying to conceal. Smh. Also, I feel like people have started dying a lot more in my thirties. They weren't in their 30s lol but definitely not like old age type deaths. Just people who died way sooner than I expected so trying to spend my 30s trying to appreciate the people who are still here while I can. Since clearly I took for granted and naively assumed that people would be around longer
Making and maintaining friendships has been much harder and I def don't have as much energy as I used to, but generally I like myself as a person a lot better in my 30s than I did in my 20s
My eyes are itchy as hell for 3 days straight. Like legit wanna paw these suckas outta my dome. Any ideas how to fix this?
Two of the top headlines on pitchfork are for Paramore and my chemical romance. Feels so weird to think about how pretentious that website used to be. Wouldn’t be caught dead having emo bands on their site.
I hate hot days, but two of the greatest feelings (to me) are: 1. Stepping into a chilly, A/C’d building on a hot day 2. Stepping back out into the warm sun after being in an A/C’d building for a few hours
I randomly remember a joke by Lewis Black about apps and having too many on your phone and needing the right amount to feel like a whole person and I don’t think that the album/special that joke is on is all that old but for the first few years or listening to that joke I’m pretty sure I didn’t know what apps were and I kinda wanna go back to that time. Not that I have/use a lot of apps now but idk it just seems wild to think back on a time before everything was/had an app
Most sleeping problems can be solved by just by getting your 8-10K steps in throughout the day. I have been having trouble going to sleep/sleeping through the night, but then I started walking 3 miles a day and I am sleeping like a goddamn baby
I found out today that the term “doorwall” is something only people from southeast Michigan say. I asked my wife what she calls it (she’s from the north) and she said “sliding glass door”. I couldn’t tell if she was joking or not because that sounds like a mouthful and I’ve never heard that. I searched “doorwall” on Twitter and every person that tweeted with that word in it is from my region. I knew about the party/liquor store thing, but this is interesting.
