I could’ve sworn that B2S stuff didn’t start rolling in until like, early August. At least that’s what I remember when I was in school.

All the summer stuff is on clearance too. Wild stuff…

I wish I could use my last name as my Instagram handle but it’s taken by a band with 20k+ followers. Part of me wants to message them out of curiosity just to see how much money they would want for it

Homicide: Life on the Street is one of the most gripping shows I've ever seen. I'm hooked

Isn’t it crazy how sometimes music really teleports you back to a certain time in your life? Like, it just evokes this mood or something and you suddenly kinda feel like you’re back in a particular period of time?

1000000% it’s very surreal. I can’t heard a record like chasing safety by underoath and not feel 15. So many feelings/thoughts/emotions come back

just saw the news about the new Thomas Pynchon novel coming out in October

this probably should've been posted in the Reasons to Keep Living thread but I'm very shocked to see a new Pynchon novel at all, much less so soon. couldn't be more excited

    I don’t think anything beats early-mid 2010’s Comedy Central.

Nathan For You, Workaholics, Drunk History, @midnight, Stewart and Colbert still hosting their respective shows… That was truly a golden age. You don’t know what you got ‘til it’s gone

Reno 911 was more 2000’s but that is the ultimate “how did this make it to air?” show

It cracks me up that there is a city in Texas just named Bee Cave. Such a silly name

But imagine a cave full of bees

    Absolutely terrifying

Thinking about starting intermittent fasting again. I am like 230 now and would like to get under 200 again.

I have done it twice before and lost significant amounts of weight both times. In the early 2010's I went from like 275 my highest to 180 my lowest in two years from mainly from skipping meals because I was working 60 hours a week. In the late 2010's I did a more structured IM fast (two dinner to dinner 24 fasts twice a week) and went from like 250 to 215 in 3 months.

30s are better than 20s. More disposable income, friend groups get pared down so you have to waste less time with dirtbags. More confidence in knowing who you are as a person. You'll love it.

Yeah the only downside is the physical aspect. Def start now with working out regularly and eating well, but if you do that then your 30’s will shit on your 20’s

One of my favorite terrible YouTube genres is the British Ameriboo channels experiencing/watching American stuff for the first time. Just hundreds of videos like "oi mate you could fit 5 Tescos in dis walmart couldntcha? Bloody hell!"

I saw a video this morning of a British girl complaining about 65 degree weather being really hot and how Americans know nothing about what she goes through. it was eye-opening but not in the way she meant it to be
