I wear glasses but haven’t been to the eye dr in years. That’s what happens when they decide eyes and teeth need their own insurance lol been even longer since I’ve been to the dentist.
My eyesight is horrible so I need to wear glasses. Eye exams are mostly covered by my insurance, but I haven't been able to afford new eyewear in a couple years I've been avoiding the dentist for too long, but that's more bc I have crooked and discoloured teeth and dental workers tend to be insensitive with their comments about them
Yeah I haven’t been to the dentist in a few years now. First it was because I was just too busy. Then it was because of the pandemic and I was not comfortable having my mouth wide open during that time lol. I need to go back. I have dental with my company rn so I have no excuse not to go
If you can get your eye doctor to give you your prescription, def check out places online like Zenni. That’s where I got my glasses and they were under $10 (plus I think $5 for shipping). I’ve had the same pair for years and they’ve held up really good. And they’re cute lol
I have an eye appt coming up. I don’t have vision insurance so my exams and contacts are all out of pocket. I also have my first cavity in like 15+ years. My dentist said it was small but it get it filled.
I have been in the market for a new car for a little while now but kept putting it off. Can someone with a little more knowledge of economics please let me know if 1) used car prices will also go up as a side effect of the tariffs and 2) if I’m too late / should wait or if I should go someplace this weekend and just do it?
i work at a job i got my best friend into who took the up the ladder job (got him in during covid cus his job was screwing him - glad he did, been a wonderful last couple years) i denied prior so all our friends now are tied together, and now he's getting a place with a coworker & his son lol. so we just banter all fucking day. im the "he says what not one else will/where did that come from and yet its so fucking on point?" friend or as my best friend puts it "I hope Josh didn't just see that" -- I always see "that" friend lol and you know the roastings are coming lol him (best buddy) on me: "If Josh doesnt tease you, he dont like you cus he dont care about you to learn" lol hes right (ofc im never mean, ill tease clumsiness or ppl being stupid in relationships lol)

I had the same eye doctor for over 20 years and he's retiring now so I need to find a new one ugh. I go every year cause I want my contacts and my prescription changes slightly each time I just went to the dentist for the first time in 3 years and I had no cavities!!
Thanks. Looks like I’ll be safe. Over the next 2 months they’ll be “eliminating” 100 positions between customer service, dedicated project employees (whose project work will be canceled) and forced early retirement. Still sucks for those people impacted but they are offering a 6 month severance package and it’s good they’re giving people in those situations a heads up in advance…. For what it’s worth.
Yeah it always sucks when people lose their jobs due to nothing related to their job performance. I’m glad you are safe and the company seems to be doing a decent job at transparency and giving some benefit to all affected!
Took my nephew to see the Minecraft movie and that was hands down the most fun I’ve had at a theater. Was the movie good? No lol But my theater was completely sold out and it was basically all kids and they LOVED it. They were yelling the lines and cheering and laughing. I had a blast just being in the audience. My theater is never even close to being sold out so I was shocked when we got there and the line was out the door. Never seen anything like that before here.
