I’m sure this has been asked somewhere or joked about on Twitter/C and other places but I wonder if Hillary Clinton had won the 2016 and 2020 elections, would this hurricane about to hit the west coast have a different name? Legit question lol. I think I remember learning that the names go in alpha order by first letter so they could have chosen another H name, but wonder if that would have happened to avoid confusion (and endless jokes) or if… whoever names hurricanes would have said, “nope, it’s Hillary, we can’t change it”.

Watching cave exploration videos and people who do this are usually in caves for a huge amount of time / all day so uh… where do they pee/poop? You’re either going to head towards it when continuing on, or encounter it on the way back. And since caves are usually very snug and claustrophobic inducing, I don’t think they’d bag it and carry it with them since it would take up space (and likely smell) so uh… hmm… that’s curious.

My "what would you do of you were rich?" fantasy is to have one of those old school fancy library/studies in my house that you see in movies with wooden paneling, huge bookshelves so big you need ladders, but instead of regular books I would fill it will comics and blu-rays.

Another "if I had the money for it" fantasy I have that is tied to that, is I always wanted to collect the "complete series" Blu-Ray collection for every possible TV series I could. I want to own the hardy copy of the entire history of culturally significant American television .

a friend of mine just called and told me that a mutual friend of ours has passed. he and I had been estranged for a few years but we had a lot of good times and memories together. I don’t really know how or what to feel besides sorrow that someone I shared a lot of time with is gone. that always hurts the most, knowing you’ll never see them again. I’m just praying for his family in this time of grief and sadness. I can’t imagine what they must be going through

 

it’s very strange waking up and realizing that someone you used to call a friend is no longer here anymore and you can never see or talk to them again
