Imagine if instead of spending all her money to trick the ghosts of the ppl killed by Winchester guns by building a crazy maze house, Sarah had just used all that money and influence to do something actually useful like lobby for gun control.
I don't know, ghosts had been getting away with shit for way too long, it was about time they got a taste of their own medicine.
it’s interesting talking to a conservative about how insanely hot it’s been lately and how the hottest days on record have all been within the last couple weeks. at first they’ll agree that it’s been way too hot lately but inevitably bring up how the Earth has constantly had different weather cycles throughout history. they love to use that one. just don’t ever mention how we might be the ones causing it or how something should be done about it. they don’t like that so much
I will never understand how people meet at the grocery store I mean life's not a goddamn Ed Sheeran song
Donald Trump would’ve been a fantastic stand-up comedian and you’re lying to yourself if you disagree
so the name Dr. Pepper definitely has some correlation with it tasting like bad medicine and that’s why they call it that
When I was a youth while watching telenovelas with my grandma she taught me that if there is no obvious confirmation of the body, they're not dead. When watching movies or shows I'll reference it when ppl think a character is dead and they will act like "naw this movie is higher brow than a novela" but nah it's never wrong sry it's the law
Feels like a personal failure when I microwave popcorn and there are lots of kernels that didn't pop. The dance between well-popped popcorn and burnt popcorn is so complicated
I could probably spend literal days posting in this thread. Held out for a bit but time to get my feet wet. why are “hot/warm” settings not more universally the same direction? (At least in the US). Want hot water on your faucet? That’s the LEFT handle. Want heat in your car or home? Turn the knob/thermostat to the RIGHT. Want a hot(ter) shower? Turn to the RIGHT. I talked about this with coworkers awhile back and thought I had more examples but currently spacing on them.
How some celebrities have every bit of info about their lives told to the world by “media” hyenas but some info stays confidential. Also why the hell do we need to know most things about famous people, who gives a shit. Latest example being Jamie Foxx. He was in the hospital for a few weeks with serious health issues but somehow the actual diagnosis didn’t get bought or discovered by TMZ or some shit? Happy for him, we don’t need to know. Wonder how many other famous people are like, “hey glad you’re doing better! So uh, how did you keep this under wraps, these people are telling the world my grandma cursed out a dentist in a K-Mart parking lot in 1995 so how the hell did you keep all this quiet?”
I guess we’re at a saturation point with many different forms of media and to some extent at least, that’s why so many things that should succeed, that are used to succeeding, are having a hard time doing so. this tells me a seachange is needed for a lot of things. music, movies, sports, etc.
I’m america, you basically have to choose between housing or eating. But can’t have both. Struggle to pay the rent… sorry you don’t qualify for food stamps. Guess you don’t eat ):
a few weeks ago people were talking about aliens in Arizona I think now I don’t hear a thing about that hmmm
