Gonna share something that's pretty boring and kinda self-indulgent but made me happy Since 2019 I've been curating 13-song playlists as a personal project, with an end goal of having one hundred playlists and poring over the stats. Most of them fit a particular vibe or theme, women artists/ women-led bands are predominantly featured, and there's rules (like a song can't be used in more than one playlist) Anyways, it's been my least active year for the project. It took me until last month to complete my first playlist of 2026, and even that was adding a single track to something otherwise done last summer. Over the past couple weeks though, I started a new playlist and finished yesterday! And it's my 75th overall (:
I don't get a period anymore because I have an IUD but I swear I'm having PMS because I'm like getting teary-eyed about how much I love matchbox 20 and how great I think they are and every song that comes on I get so emotional and I don't know why they don't get the respect on their name that they deserve!!
