The guy upstairs saw me leaving the mail room and apologized for all the trash that he would let fall into my area. Blamed it on the wind. I told him it’s not that hard to pick up after yourself and throw trash away (like why do you even leave trash out knowing it wind will blow it). He kept saying “the wind”. I also reminded him it’s been ongoing for a few years. So no. He’s just lazy and maybe they’re starting to fine him for the trash. Lately it actually has been better

the news is hardly ever anything remotely good or positive but this morning the stories I’m reading all seem particularly grim
