I just killed the largest fly I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s January, which seems like the wrong time of year to see flies. Where did it come from? What was it doing all by its lonesome, suddenly in my apartment.

Holding grudges is underrated. I'm excellent at that. Sometimes I don't even intend to do it and I think I'll move past it and fully intend to and then I'm like naw they don't deserve it. I support Larry david. I think spite is an excellent motivation to do something.

I think it depends what the thing is and how much it impacts your daily life. I have a few restaurants I hold grudges against for example. Well I did, but they went out of business muahahaha. Only impact was I stopped eating there, and whenever I'd pass those places whoever was with me would have to hear the origin story of my grudge. If it's something or someone that you perseverate so much about it impacts your daily functioning, that's probably not great.

 

I ran out of new YouTube history videos to fall asleep to. Last night I fell asleep listening to a gigantic audiobook of a biography of Napoleon. That should last me awhile.

 

My nearest Trader Joe’s has been playing absolute bangers the past few weeks. The last few times I’ve gone, they’ve been playing They Might Be Giants, Depeche Mode, Elvis Costello, Dinosaur Jr., The Dead Milkmen and R.E.M. among others.

Whichever employee is in charge of the music, I wanna give them a high five
