I was gifted a free water bottle and it's one of those that has the lines with the time where you should drink this much by this time. Any time I'm ahead of where it says I should be I'm like muahahaha I'm winning this game. Which is just a game with myself. The game of hydration. rn I'm at the 3pm line and it's still 5 minutes to 2pm. Crushing it booyah

Fed ex delivered my package to a completely different apartment complex. I had to make another complaint. Now I don’t have my cats food. It said it was delivered to the “mail room” which we don’t have. Your package either gets delivered to your door step or in a package locker

Lol today Amazon couldn't find my apartment so they left my package at another door in the complex which is across a courtyard and up a flight of stairs. They knew it was not my door cause they messaged me and said sorry here's where I left it. Like I wish they had just left it in the mail room, which we do have and they would've had to walk through to leave the package where they did

Amazon has delivered my packages to the wrong door many times. The unit number are posted on the front of the door so idk how they miss it. This is the first time it was a different complex but idk wtf the photo of was but it looked indoors, therefore not my complex

Everyone talks about the Roman pagan influence on Christmas, but not enough people talk about the Germanic Pagan influence on Christmas. What do you think Yule is? The popular conception of Santa Claus as a magical fat bearded man with reindeers is 100% influenced by Odin.

I got a mesh hat that’s black and there is no writing on it. It feels so weird to just not represent anything but also be shielded from the sun. How will people know that I like things if it’s not on my hat?

Tomorrow is my last work day of the year, I’m so excited. I’m also worried break with fly by and before I know it, it’ll be Monday 1/5 and I’ll be back in the office. Trying to figure out the proper balance between doing things and being lazy to feel like I’m maximizing my time off the best I can.

I’m not sure where to post this or if anyone can help. I got a settlement letter from an address I no longer live at, regarding “cerebral” a mental health site/telehealth. I never had cerebral nor did I ever sign up. I googled it to see if it was a scam to steal information and it seems legit. Also the address it was addressed to is not associated with my insurance nor has been for years. I’m thinking about calling the number and providing the claim ID saying I believe it’s fraudulent as I never signed up and I haven’t lived at that address in years

edit: I had a stalker years ago and the only thing I can think of is that they signed me up.
edit edit: I went back to my emails. My stalker indeed did sign me up. I will call them and say that it’s fraudulent

yeah if you're fearful for your safety then I definitely would at least let them know about it. that's so creepy

This happened a few years ago and the cops didn’t do shit. All they told me to do was change my info (phone number, email). I couldn’t even get a protective order from the courthouse. I had emailed the company saying I didn’t sign up and told them to remove my info. They said they did, but guess that was false.

I am addicted to those Japanese YouTube videos where model trains with gopros on them get attacked by cats.

Been on a WW1 history kick, and it's so wild that in the first few months of the war on the western front they were still trying to do 19th century style open warfare with calvary charges and colorful uniforms, but against machine guns and accurate artillery. Like almost a million dudes died in a few months doing that before they were like "hey maybe we should dig holes, not wear bright blue uniforms, and wear actual helmets?"

Also I like how this thread is basically just old school twitter if you want it to be. After I got rid of social media, it took me a long time to not think thoughts in terms of tweets
