today was actually a good day

now I'm home and get to sleep in my own bed

 

First sleep at home after being in the hospital is a top 3 best sleeps.

When I was a kid I never stayed over for sleepovers simply because I always wanted to be home in my own bed vs someone’s couch, floor, tent or whatever we were doing or where we were lol

 

My Spotify daylist was so interesting today. It was a bunch of bands I've never heard of, but clearly had really heavy My chemical romance influences. I guess it just felt weird seeing bands that I loved and still do love clearly inspiring a younger generation of artists and like hearing them do their their best Gerard Way vocalizations. It was cool but also made me feel old and I guess this is how my dad felt when all my favorite artists were doing impressions of his favorite artists lol

 

It don't matter what era or generation you are, you play Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison in a dive bar full of drunks people will lose their minds.
