I’ve always been a punk fan actually, I’m just not as well-versed about it as some of you guys. I know these guys from back in the day from a snowboarding or skateboarding tape soundtrack, haha.
I don’t know if they are on the same level as the Ramones but yes, highly influential and also underrated, especially considering Bill coming from Black Flag. Although, I think they lost a lot of steam when Milo left and they tried to push on without him and the whole ALL thing.
Descendents are better than ALL, for sure, but ALL had some jaaaaams. "Million Bucks" is one of my favorite Descendents adjacent songs.
definitely not as much of a legacy as black flag or a single album as good as damaged or my war but as an entire career they’ve been much better. it isn’t really close bad religion takes both of them
