The Wonder Years ones are surprisingly good. Transits one rules. Chris Cresswell's solo stuff rules. Bayside. Against Me.
You should get into the Sam Russo catalog. He’s signed to Red Scare and is a punk dude playing acoustic music. Really good stuff. His last album dropped last month and is really good.
Thought you guys would enjoy a little quarantine project I’ve started called Shirt and Destroy. I’m documenting the band shirts I’ve collected over the years. Last time I counted, I had almost 200. Some vintage, some not so vintage. So yeah, give it a follow if you’re into that sort of thing.
This was a fun watch. I love the stage/LED screen setup! The original stream got disrupted so they released the show afterwards. Love this band. Pulley is probably my favorite "skate punk" band.
The singer has had a very interesting career: minor league baseball, formed Ten Foot Pole, I believe he was kicked out and then formed Pulley. Very good band.
He actually played in MLB. Played for the White Sox. My mom was a huge Sox fan and we always went to the games when I was younger. I probably saw him pitch at some point haha. Here's a cool and recent article with Scott talking about his careers. MLB Pitcher And Punk Rock Singer: Scott Radinsky's Dual Careers
If anyone in here is familiar with Half Hearted Hero, they have changed their name and released an album as Dream Job. If anyone isn't, think super fast shreddy bands like Such Gold, A Wilhelm Scream, but with a lighter, brighter touch. I love this album.
Yeah, that's a fantastic record! It has a mid to late 90s Fat Wreck vibe but manages to sound modern at the same time. Really digging it. And it's just in time for spring/summer too.
