Sorry for being vague but I'm trying to find a band I used to listen to a long time ago and I don't recall many details. One thing that stood out is their artworks were Halloween themed, a bit like AFI's All Hallows. I'm not versed in old punk bands, but I suppose they were strongly influenced by Misfits as well. I have no idea if they're still around.
What are like the five essential punk releases of the year so far? I only listened to the new Bad Religion. For reference, my favorites are them and probably The Lawrence Arms.
Good Riddance - Thoughts and Prayers Off With Their Heads - Be Good Russian Girlfriends - In the Parlance of Our Times The Bouncing Souls - Crucial Moments EP Teenage Bottlerocket - Stay Rad! Strung Out - Songs of Armor and Devotion
Millencolin - SOS The Old Firm Casuals - Holger Danske CJ Ramone - The Holy Spell Angel Du$t - Pretty Buff
The Murderburgers - What A Mess Much The Same - Everything Is Fine Brutus - Nest Stuck Out Here - Until We’re Each Someone Else Tommy And June - Tommy and June
Mannequin Pussy - Patience is the best punk record of the year, followed by Pup - Morbid Stuff Free Throw - The Past is Prologue Angel Du$t, Good Riddance, Much The Same
Strung out Bad religion Millencolin Pup Much the same I still need to listen to Good Riddance and Off with theirs Heads
There's a skateboard charity event going on down the street from my place today and a bunch of pro's are going to be hanging out. It was also announced that Black Flag is playing. I didn't believe it at all, but its true haha. So nuts.
